Pirelli P Zero PZ5

not impressed by the pz4 that came stock with car. the reviews sound good for pz5, winning out f1a6 which I like, but alas, no size.

Just wanted to report back after 6,000 km (Daily-driven, <250 hp)

Good

1. Good grip in both wet and dry – confidence-inspiring during rain and emergency braking
2. Acceptable noise levels – noticeably quieter than PS5 on my colleague’s car, though not as quiet as Primacy / Turanza
3. Soaks up bumps better than expected for a performance-leaning tyre
4. Good steering feel – responsive without being nervous
5. Reasonable price for my tyre size (245 45 18)
6. Overall very suitable for daily driving rather than aggressive driving

Bad

1. Fuel consumption is similar to my previous PZ4 – no noticeable efficiency improvement
2. Road noise increases slightly on rougher road surfaces (coarse asphalt)
3. Sidewalls feel a bit softer under hard cornering, so not ideal if you push the car
4. Not a “comfort-first” tyre like Primacy or Turanza if silence is your top priority

Realised Pirelli is not a really popular brand in Sg as at the tyre shops, I mostly see only getting Michelin or other budget tyre brands.

I think they focus mostly on big size or conti size in SG.

Dun have much choices from pirelli for normal jap and Korean cars.
