Who's using the Preceda here?

I got from Leong Seng, they are beside Yap brothers. My 16" cost me $160 each.

Got my Preceda installed 3 mths ago after seeing it on Leonknap's Scubby and after he has given his thumbs up.

 

Compared to my previos ST115, noise level is similar. But the grip is so much better. Had 2 or 3 emergency brakes on the Preceda and there were little, if any, skidding. The grip is much better than ST115 even when it was new.

 

My verdict is that this is a tyre that has a fine balance between comfort and performance.

Yep, I agree. I've used ST115 before and dumped it after 20K....so far I have been very happy with the Preceda.

Glad u liked the preceda!! hehe now clocked close to 18k on my tyres and the grip is still good and noise level still low for a high performance tyre. Threads still look quite new so probably can last for quite a long time more! One good thing I like is that even though I pay more for the preceda as compared to other tyres such as ES100, G3 etc.. at least the tyre lasts longer, grips jus as well and is more comfortable!!

 

Anyway drive carefully man, every emergency stop is damn risky. even if u can stop does not mean the car behind u can.
