Zombie Neutral Newbie August 21, 2003 Share August 21, 2003 Hey yeah, SL is a pain when comes to cleaning... I used to own that when driving my Lancer... My intention is to own Bronze or black rims, but think there's not much choices of brands... Any recommended brands? Saw a SSP bronze in colour. Any feedback on that particular brand? enkei... i saw this at SE Tyres... it is lighter than SL.... but i personally prefer multi-spokes...
Zolidlim Neutral Newbie August 21, 2003 Author Share August 21, 2003 Well, will definitely to go tengok tengok... So many shops in here, must really search for a good bargain. I have what i want in mind, classic 5-6 single or double spokes, with dark colour like bronze or black... or I saw a set of Advanti rims, just like Volks style, in light bronze colour. But didnt ask about the price. Will go arond the island when get my car. This place in Jurong isit what Lester suggested to me too?? Must call him up to check. Anyway, thanks Kelvin... Zolidlim Neutral Newbie August 21, 2003 Author Share August 21, 2003 can rims be coloured to your choice ? or does it come in standard colours only... Heard that some are powder coated (might flake off in the long run) while not sure if there is such a thing as electroplating the colour on the rims...(definitely expensive process) Hehehe, dun mind telling you this, I drove a white suzuki GTi b4 and I sprayed my rims into matt black. It costed me less than $40!!! Haha cos I sprayed myself by buying those spray....DIY... One can per rim, w/o removing your tyre. Just use masking tape to tape around the brim will do!! Nice and solid. Paint wont chip off, unless hit by big stone...
