Well, what I can say is that it has been worth it. For a 10 year old car, I feel that after the mods it's running much better than before, even with the heavy momo wheels on top of that, it can still pull...keke [nod]

Hi there Vern

How's everything? I did notice those outstanding rims on your car when we met to pass you the HVS. I was actually thinking to myself...'his rims are heavy!...' But good to know your fuel consumption is on avg of the car spec.

Hi Lester

Long time no chat. I'm fine how about yourself?

Yes, those rims are indeed heavy, especially for those who are used to quality Japanese rims. One good thing is that the weight of the rims have sort of "satbilised" the car at high speed...kekeke

I plan to put up a motoring site soon...keke...stay tuned... [nod]

Hi Sapience,

You can try looking at some of the rims/tyre shops listed in the RESOURCES folder under the Rims/Tyres Shops thread. nod.gif Here is the link -->

that thread didn't mention autovox. i know it's more of a audio tuning shop, but they look like they stock a fair range of wheels. anyone has any experience with them?

Hi Sapience,

Autovox is listed in the Workshops in S'pore thread...they carry brands like Racing Dynamics, Carlsson, AMG, ABT, Oettinger, Projektzwo, MS Design, Caractere, Jet Design, Antera etc. nod.gif

Dont think u can fir airmax 2 and capsule as they tap the same line rt.

BTW, i think the capsule helps give better braking as it sucks air from the manifold when u apply brakes and vice versa.

last time i used the capsule or "gunigong" i found that mid to highs were good but low end wasnt at all.

yes, you can. It's been done in some of the Toyota bros' cars. The expert is John from the Toyota Club Singapore forum at Delphi. He da man! [thumbsup]

So airmax is supposed to help in the low end, while capsule helps in the mid to high range.

I also recommended one colt bro to fit capsule at Huat Lee Tyres. He loved it after that...keke [sunny]
