If your rims are those very that can reach the inside of the calipers, just poke your fingers in and clean it when it's dirty [nod] If not if mechanic got chance to take out rims, take opportunity & clean it while he is doing it! [thumbsup]

wah...cannot be lah [laugh] ... everyday they got drive one [laugh]. The thing is, i am very particular where cleaniness is concerened. so if really hard to keep it clean looking maybe I will just spray the caliper black. wat do guys suggest? is it possible for me to simpily sand off the existing paint(red) and respray wif black. or is there any other options for me to consider to clean the caliper spotlessly clean. [rolleyes]

Thanks all

Cheers

Hi Darkness,

First of all, welcome to MCF, we hope you enjoy your stay with us and do join us for meetups.

Secondly, with regards to your question. What I have done for mine is.. Instead of using diluted shampoo (mixng the shampoo with water) to clean., this is what I do:

1. Spray water on the caliper.

2. Pour some concentrated shampoo onto a sponge.

3. Use the sponge to clean the caliper and then spray water onto the caliper to remove the shampoo.

have been using toothbrush for some time now...but it is a torture to keep the calipers looking clean. Boy...maybe should not have choosen red after all [:(] ...is it possible for me to sand off the paint [sweatdrop][:(] and spray black over it? this way much easier to maintain. I hope...

ya they really look good and sporty in red [inlove] ...but if u r particular about detail...then red is best if u wash ur rims atleast 2 days once or use dust free pads (EBC aka green). Other than that go for balack wif white sticker the best!

Cheers

Darkness [thumbsup]
