There are couple of reasons why foul smell from the air-con: - dirty blowers due big dirt like big dead insects. No worry, can see back to Komoco for a check. - refresher that not meant for car. Not applicable for your case as u dont use it. - car mat as a result of dirty shoes that driver not aware of. Try to clean and smell it With filter, the dust seem to reduce around the dashboard. Regarding about the matter you mention below, maybe what i would advise you is that to seal off the a/c in which air cannot enter into the vehicle which means alternatively your a/c recycle would be dsabled and you can't control the temperature. the bad adour smell is due to once you start your engine, the air from the environment enters into your vehicle because the a/c recyle switch is off by default. by once you disabled it, air would not enter at all once you start your engine. Try not to used those air refresher hang onto your a/c vent, as such this will cause bad adour smell and at times may melt the vent and dashboard area. You can get this done at Komoco. I don't have food, eat in car, air-freshner, etc in my car and yet i have this problems. I believe not opnly my car has this problems, but most of us do have the same problems. Please advise. I also DO NOT have any air-freshner with me in my car as i understand that it will kill the leather smell. Car mat, i usually was when i was my baby. Anyway, thank you for your advise. Guess i'll have to seek Komoco side for assistance and see what they can do about it. Service_advisor Neutral Newbie November 6, 2003 Author Share November 6, 2003 (edited) Hi there, Bascially for FL sonata, the front brake type is: 14-inch(EU:15-inch)Ventilated Outer Disc, Floating-Caliper Brakes with Pads Wear Warning Device And for rear brake type: With ABS: Self Adjusting, Leading Trailing Shoe Drum Brakes with Parking Brake Mechanism. Without ABS: Self Adjusting Disc Brakes with Parking Brake Mechanism I would not advise you to upgrade your brake system as it is still under warrantly anyway i dun see any wrong with the brake system and is quite efficient too. Dun waste unneccesary money. For the original brake pad life span estimated around 45000km provided constant braking style.No warrantly. Whereas Rotor Disc, warrantly for the first 60000km if need to skim and subsequently estimated every 20000km to skim once which is chargeable.
