Amp Recommendation

hi folks,

 

any 4/2 channel amp to recommend for my 6.5" CDT classic (metal tweeter) ? my HU is pioneer 7450 (45W). have done SP to the doors (dynamat and accumat) and boot.

this is wat i have done,

 

4 doors - 1 layer dynamat - $220

frt 2 door - 1 layer accumat - $120

boot - some thick carpet material - $80

 

after these SP, SQ improves even on stock speakers. external noise are also filtered. closing of doors also sounds more conti [;)]

just wanna clarify,

 

if the speaker spec is 80W. the amp should have >80W RMS to power the speaker ?

SP definately does help.

Wait till you hear Audiocheck's setup, but most of the time he MIA.

 

Just wondering why you have a combination of dynamat and accumat?

Care to share the reason behind this?

Class D amps only play limited frequencies.

Usually for playing the lower frequencies.

Yes, they are more efficient, but the sound is somewhat different.

Listen around when you get a chance.

That serves as a guide.

Generally speakers get damamged with overdriving underpowered amps.
