ok, will do a weekend window shopping [;)]

just wanna clarify,

if the speaker spec is 80W. the amp should have >80W RMS to power the speaker ?

That serves as a guide.

Generally speakers get damamged with overdriving underpowered amps.

Hmmm... then wat if the speaker recommended power input is 50-250watts and my amp can only push 150watts per channel?

It will play lah, [nod]

What kind of speakers are these that require 250 watts?

The CDT 6.5"?

Can do lah, unless you really want to feed them all the way [idea]

Audiocheck feeding 200watts into his fronts.

Me looking for the right amp to do that also [bounce2]

Just bought these boston rally RC250 speakers. The spec says recommended amplifier power is 20-250watts. So my amp pusing out 150watts per channel will spoil the speakers or not?

overdrive your amp and you will definately spoil.

Try first lah

i presume your 150watts is RMS, and that is already quite alot.

I am only driving 100watts RMS, and thats American RMS
