Before I forget, let me input here the various allen key sizes unique to the Fabia.

 

Gear oil nut: Allen key size 17

Engine oil reservoir nut: Allen key size 8

Spark plugs nuts (X 2): Allen key size 6

How about the sparkplugs recommended type and brand?

Any washer for the engine oil reservoir plug?

Any improvement on the tremble after oil change, forgot to witness your engine condition earlier.

Hi Sky8807,

 

The spark plug originally in the Fabia is Champion. The org plugs even have the Skoda logo on it. The new plugs they used in today's servicing is Bosch normal type.

 

I have the org plugs and boxes with me now but I am a goon on matters related to spark plugs. So I just tell you all the numbers I can see on the box & plug and maybe you decipher it. Tks.

 

On the box: BBC057012

 

On the plug: RC89PYC

 

On the plug (engraved on the metal): RC89PYC 101000049AC R5 GB

 

 

 

2. Yes there is a washer for the engine oil nut. I asked the mech if they change it every servicing, he says they never change it unless its deemed to be damaged.

 

3. Nah, trrrrreembling the same lah. I was hoping the spark plugs change can improve the situation a bit but no.

Trying to find out what the figure mean (RC89PYC) and also the equivalent type by other brand. Hard to find man.

Check the internet and unable to find the answer till now. Don't know any of the members out there can help find the answer?
