Sorry, but what is an 'Ecotek' ? Sounds so much like the GM engine used in Vectra's, but I doubt if that's what you're talking about, are you ?

Ecotek can be fitted on any petrol driven car (manual or auto) so long as it's not supercharged. The most significant improvement you could observe immediately is the improvement in the low end torque. In some cases, it could also help cure the flatspot during acceleration. However, the most important benefits are the fuel savings and reduce emission level from the exhaust.
