first one look bigger to me, like the superb... second one look like bmw to me, wonder if it is becoz of the rims... hehehe

Hi Perry,

the 1st one is the new one lah.

The Superb is has a longer body and a long boot.

 

the 2nd one is the current 1.8T / RS

looks more 'smooth' overall than our current version... but dunno what happen to the antenna?

Hmm... doesnt it look like the current Octy juz that this one a little more curvy?

From the look of it, the bonnet has been raised a little, the windows rounded slightly and the rear tapered lower, rear lights has the look of the Audi A6 / Kia Spectra, front lights like IS200. Overall I still prefer the current octy look, more aggressive.

According to an official announcement by skoda auto, it (new octavia) should be available on the market only in the second quarter of 2004, as the current model octavia is apparently still selling well."

 

other note worthy items in the article : (as mentioned above) the wheel base will increase by 98mm to 2610mm, while the overall length will remain the same (apparently to increase the leg room)..This should also decrease the "long overhangs" thereby improving handling..
