just went to the above shop to check my alarm which has no siren during arming and disarming, at the same time checking on the price of the led scanners. Lady boss quoted me $28 which is more expensive than a wholesaler selling at defu lane, but + labour is much cheaper, total only $35. Siren faulty is due to loose wiring and the auntie boss decided to forgo the charges for that. Friendly service from the mechanic too, maybe other shops can get cheaper including labour, but to me their service is

i know cos i did a search and very few threads on scanner, then the shop is located near where i stay, so i just posted on the same thread lor...the one i bot is not a varad, dunno simi LJ brand, but got 8 scanning modes, looks quite similar to the one below though...
