I heard that Huyndai cars respond well and gain better FC with the capsule installed.

I'm not marketing the stuff, just to tell you what I heard from hanging around at workshops...keke [sly]

How old is your accent? It's normal for FC to be lousy during the run-in period. With proper run-in, your FC will be better when your milage accumulates. FC depends on your driving style too.

All these after market stuffs will improve FC at a cost ... need to work out if it will be worth it ... also car under warranty !!!

The car is still new about 3 months old ... hopefully it will get better ... just like the air cond is getting colder now as compared to beginning.

By the way, this is my friend's car and I am posting on his behalf ... but we know each other's car well as we sometimes exchange our drives.

My 2.0L Auto is getting better FC than his 1.5L Manual .. which is very strange since both are KOREAN made ... mine is KIA [;)]

Actually my 3months old Accent 1.5A is also getting that kinda FC. Mine is around 10km/L.

My A/C is very erratic, cold in the night and not in the day.

Think you need to check the gas pressure in your air cond. system. Understand that car comes with over pressure air cond to condition system from new ... just go an check with your service center and tell them the problem with your erratic air cond .... BTW check if your air cond filter is choked.

Could it be due to the brand of fuel you pump & the octane?

I know SPC & Caltex gives the worst mileage.

You can safely pump 95RON. Don't waste $$$ on expensive 98RON fuel

Hi KYT,

You can try to chg ur current exhaust pipe. My exhaust pipe was damaged due to the poor design on the Accent & I got it replaced for abt $110 at Ubi. Now, i have travel about 250km for $20 of SPC 98 petrol.
