Yep, one's a 5speed manual and the other a 7speed CVT.

The 7AT is very smooth and in fact so smooth I didn't like it as I can't feel the acceleration or deceleration...

 

The manual on the other hand is difinitely more fun and feel more punch but alas too bad, the rev cut came early at abt 6.5k short of 1k as compared to former City Vtec at 7.5k....

Another thing that the City is different from FIT aside from the VTEC having manual option is that the i-DSI is also using the 7 speed CVT.
