Ko78 Neutral Newbie June 11, 2004 Share June 11, 2004 Only has 1 rpm mode : 4400 RPM. Was thinking of buying but decided not to. I'll probably pay $300 for a more professional one like makita or bosch
Jesse_james Neutral Newbie June 11, 2004 Share June 11, 2004 porter cable polisher has been highly rated and fairly safe to use. Hand polisher is safer for cars that have been maintained regularly. Machine polishing is handy in removing those deeps marks and scratches. Skill set is required to operate the machine. If you are a risk adverse person, try hand first. There are products that are abrasive and there are those that serve as good fillers for those lines.
