Klasse Application Questions

since there's a posting on tips, i may as well have one on questions, since i just got started on it.

some questions i hope all the klasse experts out there can help me with...

1. in the application tips, it said that i should probably finish the whole bottle of AIO after two coats. i did 2 coats, but used only 1/10 of the AIO... am i skimping too much? the surface of the car does feel "creamy and buttery" though...

2. as i'm doing my SG a week later, do i have to AIO again? or just a plain wash will do?

TIA!! [:)]

Hi there,

Think I replied to your post before the forum went down, so am replying again.. deja vu man ! crazy.gif

Anyway, in answer to your questions:

1. One whole bottle of AIO can last you more than a year ! shocked.gif And for each coat...you only need to use very little of the AIO on the car. nod.gif

2. If the car is generally clean... you can use KSG on its own, ie. w/o applying the AIO. Unless you want to clean the paintwork before the KSG, then you can go ahead and use the AIO. nod.gif

"All-In-One contains a real polish. It removes surface films, old wax, minor swirls, and oxidation. It

the thing about SG was that it's not so apparent leh...

when i first applied the AIO, it was like *WOW*... but after that put SG, not much positive feedback... so stopped at the first layer.

what should i be seeing when i apply the SG? a wet kind of look?

>>There has been some feedback that the shine by Klasse may not be as bright as one from >>other sealants. It also depends on what colour car it is applied on I suppose.

Klasse Sealant Glaze acts as additional Klasse acrylic protection. You have to complete the process usually with waxing. The answer lies in the richness of color, depth and clarity that only a high-quality carnauba wax can bring out on a polished surface. Just my 2 cents. [;)]

Hi Seraphim,

I do agree with your comments. nod.gif

There are different objectives for different people when it comes to applying sealant or wax. For some... their main consideration is protection for the paintwork and the shine is secondary. For others... shine is of primary consideration, although protection is still an important factor.

For me.... I prefer to just use sealant and not use any organic wax products on my ride. Reason being the harsh climate we have here... and also the fact that we have to reapply the wax due to the deterioration from the heat.

I would also have to make sure that the paintwork surface is totally clean from wax before applying any more layers of sealant on it. sweatdrop.gif To me.. protection is of primary importance... and also I'm too lazy to apply another layer of wax on top. rolleyes.giftongue.giflaugh.gif
