Mondeo Neutral Newbie September 24, 2002 Share September 24, 2002 Well, that related the Pretty or Risk!!
Madarmour Neutral Newbie September 25, 2002 Share September 25, 2002 Some are original and TUV approved. Those are expensive and the smoke effect is within the cover material, not sprayed on. And those smoked lights doesn't reduce light transmission like a sprayed on light does.
Spaceman Neutral Newbie September 25, 2002 Author Share September 25, 2002 hmmm, and i didn't even know that smoked tail-lights are illigal in sillypore... gas it doesn't make it any better if you spray from the inside rather then the outside... anyway, anyone knoes what spray are those??? Freemason Neutral Newbie September 25, 2002 Share September 25, 2002 think u might wanna put on some dark stickers to ur tail lights rather than spraying its outside? at least u get caught, you can still peel off that dark stickers.
Madarmour Neutral Newbie September 26, 2002 Share September 26, 2002 Sorry, can't help you there as I've no experience in spraying tail-lights. I don't recommend it as any paint will definitely reduce the light transmission and might pose a hazard to those driving behind you. Anyway, for a DIY, it may prove difficult to spray as you've gotta get it right the first time. Too much paint, you've gotta get a new set of lights! Just my $0.02. Huggable Clutched September 26, 2002 Share September 26, 2002 I use Tamiya clear red/smoke to tint the tail-lights. I placed both lights very close together, and sprayed them as one. The tint can be removed by using fine sandpaper (tried before). To avoid unnecessary attention, I only tint the signal lens, not the whole combination lamp.
