Help in cleaning interior

Hi,

 

As my car's interior (all the plastic parts) are light grey in colour, it gets dirty easily. I am having a hard time trying to clean all the dirt marks on them. Bought the 3M Plastic cleaner and polisher to use. After applying the cleaner, the surfaces has patches white due to the cleaner. Anyone has any recommendation to clean the interior of the car. Thanks.
