well, i won't say hands down....but let's say i fairly confident of the czechs...they aren't like the french that design their plays around one player. and they aren't that motivated also.

the czechs are different....u see dangers coming all over the place and basically their enthusiasm in the game is there.

anyway, bubble for greek will burst one day....i am picking it to burst now against the czech mates.

but it would be interesting to see Greece vs Portugal in the Final match. after they've played against 1 another in the Very 1st game for this competition.

opening & closing ceremony matches. [laugh][thumbsup]

this did happen before.....

1988 holland lost to soviet union in group game.

then in the final they beat soviet union to lift the cup.

i must say greece is damn dangerous side...i don't think its easy to kill them off....but having said that, czech also demonstrated in the last game, they are capable of playing a thinking game unlike teams like france, england, spain and italy.

that said, i think czech might still prevail.

hahaha.. we shall see tonite.... [thumbsup][laugh]

too bad baros couldnt produce this sort of form for L'pool...

i must say cze attack look formidable...

tall Kohler, fast n nimble baros, wing play from porborsky, playmaker nevdev...

then they have another one or two good midfielders.... [thumbsup]

actually not fair to say baros couldnt produce such form. its houllier who never give the chance.

owen return from injury, houllier play him almost every other match. baros return from injury, houllier play him sparingly....in fact i was quite impressed with the goal he scored against leeds coming on as substitute.....i was quite sure then that baros was in better form than owen....and quite evidently in the euro cup, owen played like a terrified baby.....don't dare to take on defenders like he does in the past.......wrong move, man houllier.

its amazing.....the marek heinz is only playing in the czech league...but he's also damn good. poborsky? fantastic......serves fergie right for treating poborsky like dirt in the past......

no doubt the czech is full of talents.

hmm, did he?

anyway, can't make it is a subjective thing.....many times its also dependent on team strategy and whether manager is biased.

take poborsky. he was very good in euro96. chased by pool then manu snapped him under pool noses apparently to spite pool. poborsky was seldom used in manu not because he did not perform when he played but more because fergie is as bigoted as ever.

he went to portugese league, played well but perhaps we don't hear much of him cos no one actually follows portugese league. if we didn't follow his path, we would have also tot he's a CMI player.

second thing is team strategy. certain strategy fit certain players. look at henry for england and henry for france...france centers their play around zidane.....henry's skills and creativity are not put into full play...but henry at arsenal? see the difference?
