Ah_veo Neutral Newbie July 16, 2004 Share July 16, 2004 Hi All, The Getz was originally top of my list but when I viewed it with my Mum yesterday, I was really disappointed with its interior. Everything looks so plastic (or should I say cheap plastic?? ) and the finishing is quite poor. (Even got plastic smell when I opened the door. ) My mum who know nuts about cars also complained about the poor interior. Haiz, the car looks great on the outside but not in the inside. We went to see the Picanto next and suprisingly, I find the interior finishing better than the Getz. In the end, did not test drive both the cars as we were in a hurry. Well, will do that next time. However, the interior of the Getz really puts me off . i guess all new owners will hv some personal priorities when it comes to buying new cars. moreover, diff drivers hv diff driving styles. best is to check out all those showrooms & test drives all the cars. i would say both are great cars!!! Cashiertan Neutral Newbie July 19, 2004 Share July 19, 2004 I was suggesting that the Aveo will be able to catch up on Getz on sales volume as people realised that they can get more value for money by getting the Aveo and also it's not any worse than Getz many areas! Aveo is much better than getz in any aspect not forgeting it is a 1.4/1.5l engine. Juz went to see and test drive a getz with a fren whu want to compare the cerato with aveo and getz. my guess is he will either take the cerato and aveo. after seeing the getz and test drove it with him, he left w/o even asking what freebies he can get from the SE...
