Yes, diesel-driven vehicles registered as "S" plate pay 6X rd tax according to engine cc... TAXIS i not too sure how the tax structure like [:p]

As far as i know:

Kangoo 1.4A petrol / 1.9M diesel

Citroen 1.4A petrol / 1.9M diesel

Actually those box-type vans like Nissan Urvan / Toyota Hiace also got paassenger version, reg as PA plates...

Anyone can share some info on the diesel tax everyone keeps talking abt?

So if i get this monster, lets say the road tax is 950 as mentioned by most bro here,

what are the other extras i have to pay?

950 is registered not under coy but also not 'S' plate rite?

Diesel tax is only applicable if you want to convert your diesel powered 'G'-plater into a 'S' plater. It is 6-7 times your annual road tax of your given capacity. Registering under private or business will NOT change plate lettering, only paying annual diesel tax will.

Apart from the $950/year road tax (irregardless of private or business registration), you are also subjected to yearly inspections and speed limit of 70km/h. Insurance wise, you will NOT be able to bring your passenger vehicle insurance's NCB across to the commercial side, thus NCB starts from 0%. Interest rates for loans on commercial vehicles are at 3.1% when I bought my Musso in 2004. They are further limited to a 7 year loan. You will NOT be able to get a "weekend"(red plate) commercial vehicle. You will NOT get any PARF value on your precious log card.

drink diesel like nobody business.... my company musso is clicking around 7km/L, calculated using past 1 year millage/fuel consumption so should be very accurate.

Average is 9 km/L. Full tank of $70 can give you about 600km. If your company's Musso is getting 7km/L, something is wrong. I only get 7km/L when I go off-road.

It is very addictive. Just went again this afternoon. Look out for an ultra muddy Musso driving around in this next few days. I'll be praying for rain.
