Matrix or Vivant ??

Hi bros,

 

if given the choice... you wld select Matrix or Vivant ??

 

looking at 1.6 mini MPV.. under $70K car

 

understand Chevrolet Vivant is 1.6M... old engine... FC not sure...

 

Matrix is 1.6A... FC not too good... common on road...

Heard the "new" Matrix's FC i better after they changed the engine!

not proven yet and didnt hear from hyundai their engine change. Only Tucson and new trajet comes with new cvt engine.

The Vivant 1.6 uses the same engine as the Optra if I'm not wrong. Way underpowered. The new Matrix has a new engine that did wonders in the FC department.

 

But in terms of size, the Vivant wins. See what your needs are. Check with Eskimo about the Vivant. He drives one. Somehow, getting coolant system issues as of now. Maybe because he is Eskimo, SG too hot even for his car .

 

The Vivant is the former Daewoo Tacuma. Too bad they didn't bring in the premium version with the onboard PS2 and monitor.

yup... Vivant is veri spacious... just worried abt the

1)old engine technology

2) the pickup

3) switching to manual

... & OMV is jst $13K...

 

but veri attractive price & nice SE that attend to me..

Read Tomasulu's view on value for cars. OMV is really quite stupid and this ties to resale as well.
