Depends the drive-shaft problem how serious only, some cal still can move only when its turn....

I suggest U bring down to workshop to take alook, changing drive-shaft of the old Jap car may casue $200-$300 (per pair) depends the part grading. If changing bearing even cheaper abit.

"replace as 1 set"

Hi! there, Super4,

You can replace the 2 CV-joints on the driveshaft that's noisy.

It's a Constant-Velocity joint used by FWD cars. Alternatively, you can get a re-con one, if you don't want to pay for new ones. But, I won't advice you to do that, as very high stress is on it when in operation.

Paul, i will take ur advice on getting a new set of CV-joints that's causing the noise, whatever it takes to omit the sound from resurfacing again.

"new set of CV-joints"

Hi! there, Super4,

When you change the new CV-joints, take a look at the old one. You'll understand what's the difference between a new & re-cond one.

Since you've found your long lost 7th brother, take his advise on his regular w/shop. I'd recommend you a JB w/shop instead.
