Davey Neutral Newbie August 29, 2004 Share August 29, 2004 (edited) Hi Everyone, Installed a Morette DIY KIT ordered from Malaysia and documented it down in CarDomain.com. It is not a direct 1-1 replacement so needs a bit more effort! For those interested, can visit below to see how it is done! http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/634266/4 Cheers, David Edited August 29, 2004 by Davey ↡ Advertisement

Davey Neutral Newbie August 30, 2004 Author Share August 30, 2004 This is not a generic kit. It is designed specifically for the Citroen C3. The mirror cover needs to fit perfectly with your existing door mirrors, so I don't think it is "freely" available as there is not much demand for it in Singapore ... Str2 Neutral Newbie August 30, 2004 Share August 30, 2004 We are a bit confused , why yr box is so big. So it actually contains the covers for the two side mirrors. I think i saw local shops selling the two stick on indicators (with wires)which is similiar to yr pics and make use of existing mirrors. A dedicated one is already built-in (like the Merc type) and no drilling required, just remove the old cover and fix the new and connect the wires. That's why I still abit confused. Davey Neutral Newbie August 30, 2004 Author Share August 30, 2004 (edited) The box is actually not very big, maybe it looks big in the photo! I forgot to take a picture of the contents of the box. But anyway, it comes with the following stuff: 1. Door Mirror Covers (moulded to fit the car model and must be spraypainted, the original C3's door mirror is a black, one-piece design which DOES NOT have a removeable cover!) 2. Stick on indicators (yes, these are the same that you can buy from local shops) 3. Wire clamps that allow you to clip onto the existing indicators 4. Large tube of glue (kinda useless cost most of it dried up already) 5. Instruction manual on how to fix The Merc type (no drilling) is not available for me cos my mirrors don't have an existing cover to replace. The stick on indicators can get locally, but stick on would not look good (really looks like stick on!). Also, how does the stick on type run/hide the wires without drilling a hole? BTW, you can see how the original mirrors look like here: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_image...4266_1_full.jpg Edited August 30, 2004 by Davey
