17inch on EK civic

Hi guys..will fixing 17 inch rims with 40 profile tyres scrub the wheel arch of ek civic?was afraid that it migth be too big for it and also when full lock..will the tyres scrub the inner wall of the inner wheel arch?

Shouldn't be a problem, have saw many Civic with 17". Just ensure the offset is correct.

Unless they are ultra light wheels, u'll be stressing your engine and will affect the drive and performance of your car .... not a very advisable mod ... 17" inch is already pushing it for the Civic.
