Hi all,

Any comments on the Castrol SLX 0W 30???

Me going for my 10K servicing soon and was thinking of using my own oil

instead of the agent's shell helix.

However, I'm afraid the Castrol oil is to thin for our hot weather.

If not good, any suggestions on other oil and also prices????

Thks a million in advance!!! sunny.gifsunny.gifsunny.gif

I also have the same doubt but the senior said it's OK in our climate.

However, for TC car and those who always redline, but stick to 40 or 50. Just my 2 cents. nod.gif

If you don't track with the oil, it is OK for daily driving. The oil warms up fast for our short trips. No problem. For a 0W30 the oil is very thick. I'm speaking about the SLX-A3 and not the A1.

Not thin for our whether. Use it. Go to Teck Chye Terrace. Forklift Enterprises sells it for 78.
