Hi, if I'm using the cleaner wax, what should be the correct steps?

 

1) Shampoo wash

2) polish

3) cleaner wax??

 

Will using the cleaner wax after polish have any negative effect?

Is the cleaner wax is not actaully a full wax, but for cleaning purpose only?

Won't the next step in polishing will remove the wax?

Hi bro,

 

Cleaning Wax is more like a surface prep to me.. light abrasive compound to remove fine scratches and water marks.. you can also use claybar for a more thorough cleaning

 

after the surface prep should be polishing followed by waxing.. sealant would be the final stage of car grooming..

From my understanding, Zymol is excellent for dark/black cars. they are known to restore back to the orginal colours. Also it is a cleaner wax that can minimise fine lines scratches & swirl marks.

 

I learnt this from the car grooming centre at Punggol Plaza. The guy, Jay is knowledgeable & uses Zymol for their waxing. They also use Zymol products for the leather care aplication. As for polish, they uses Hi-Glaze 88. They also use HG88 for their car wash (sealant)

 

Zymol & Hi Glaze 88 are pretty expensive, yet they use them for their waxing & polishing. Good deal.

Sorry, but can anyone advice where would Klasses AIO fall in place if I have Zymol?

Currently, I have

1.Kit Concentrated Car Wash

2.Auri polish ( Some 1yr old leftovers )

3.Zymol cleaner wax

 

What else should I get if OCW is out of stock? Should I get Soft99 Auth Wax and the Klasse sealant? My car is gold metalic coloured.

Do u mean cleaner wax will thin the paint as well if used regularly? btw I am using eagle 1 cleaner wax.

 

Can I skip the polishing part if my ride is pretty new (3mths) and constantly protected by turtle wax high gloss (Sealant), wif avg 2 weeks application?
