Madarmour Neutral Newbie October 17, 2002 Share October 17, 2002 I was a Star Wars fan too, but The Phantom Menace has sort of diluted my liking for the series. Missed the Attack of the Clones. Heard it's good. Will buy the DVD version. I like Return of The Jedi best. I'm hooked to the Lord of the Rings now. Can't wait for The Two Towers! Jarjar4 Neutral Newbie October 17, 2002 Author Share October 17, 2002 >Better check whether your warranty will be voided if you change your dials. Yeah, I will probably wait till my warranty ends before changing the dials.. wana change my analog clock too! >Try this web: http://www.climaxtech.com Just called them this afternoon, and they do not have the luminated dials for my model. But the saleperson said they are able to custom-make one for my model for about $160-180, which I figure it's considered to be reasonable cheap! What do you guys think? Lead time will be about 2 days..
Jarjar4 Neutral Newbie October 17, 2002 Author Share October 17, 2002 >Welcome to MCF and its mad mad world (sometimes ).... but also be prepared for >highly technical toks other times..... Gosh! I simply love technical talks! Coz I find them interesting and defintely a knowledge builder! >please make yourself at home, relac, sit back and enjoy the forum, share your >thoughts, be free as a bird, cool as cucumber.......... Sure, already felt homely and definitely enjoy reading the forum! They are many members in the forum who are very helpful and provide very good advice! >Is your YRV in red as in your siggy??.......... that's hot (and cool at the same >time )..... do join us at our meetups.......... there'll be one supper meetup this Fri at >jln kayu 10pm onward........... Yes, my YRV is in red, but not 100% exactly the same as the one in the Siggy(which is a turbo model). My YRV is currently very much in stock state, but I'm making plans and personal projects to jazz up the car slowly due to $$$ constraints.. Here's are some of my plans : 1) Change the rims (Probably last to go) 2) Get a reasonably price HU with MP3 support, Amp/Subwoofer. 3) Change lumi dashboard dials 4) Change to white headlites. 5) Small LCD screen for my DIY mini PC.(will need a inverter for this.. ) >Cheers n take car bro.......... >ps: Super4 is my elder bro..... are you Super4's cousin coz of '4' in your nick?...juz >curious Sure, you take care too! Used to ride a Super4 -> St1100 before moving on to cars.. Any other fellow bikes->car brothers here as well?? See ya around bro!

Jarjar4 Neutral Newbie October 18, 2002 Author Share October 18, 2002 >>Sorry, just couldn't help it Hope you're not mad about it. Welcome to MCF, you'll >>definately enjoy your stay here hey ... no worries. Well, actually I came up with the nicky right after I saw the Starwars new series! >>I was a biker in my earlier days, used to ride a Kawa AR125, equivalent to the >>Yamaha LC125. Bought a Harley in 99 but sold it off May this year as I do not >>have much time riding it Cool! I'm still keeping my ST in case I send my car for svc, then I won't be left without any transport. Anyway, selling away doesn't fetch me a good price either, might as well renew the COE(Since it so cheap nowadays) and keep the riding spirit going .. So what are you currently driving now? See ya around!
Jarjar4 Neutral Newbie October 18, 2002 Author Share October 18, 2002 >>G'morning JarJar4..... Goooooood morning Super7! >>we'll be secretly (will find a way to do so ....) following your 'personal' project on >>your YRV....hehehe............. Sure.. would love to share my modding experiencewith ya guys here. Gosh, first it was bike modding, then PC modding, now car modding! >>you mean there are Turbo YRVs available locally olso...?...remember reading about >>local agent bringing them in, true ornot?.......will be keen to test drive it!!! .....any >>idea where it will be in the showroom? No, they will be locally available in Dec 02. Spoken to the salesperson, and they mentioned that there are already lot of bookings for the Turbo model, which supposed to be due in Sept, but was later pushed back to Dec 02. It ain't cheap, cost a whopping 80K! Well, of coz, it will come with cool features like Steershift and a more sporty bonnet and bodykit. Perhaps we can go down together too, I would love to test drive it as well. Take care bro, see ya around!
