I see, so the de-mister is for clearing fogging on the inside? or outside, confuse

Actually both way, when you switch on during raining, you'll see the rain drop will just slip thru rear-screen.

de-mister is to warm up the glass and get rid of mist formed OUTSIDE.

 

if mist is inside, just open the window for a while or on aircon to lower cabin temperature.

This warming up is done thru wired-rear windscreen, am I right?, but front windscreen leh? just blow air only isit?

yes. if you look at the base of your front windscreen, you will see air vents. those are there so that you can demist the front. but of course, need to turn your aircon to "warm" inorder to get warm air flowing lah

 

actually best way to avoid mist is to off aircon and open windows. this way, both inside and outside temp. is the same and windows wont fog. can save fuel too

I did that on the driver side windows, it didn' thelp....maybe next time I open all windows....

open one side only and outside air wont exactly flow into the cabin...

 

try opening both sides, 1 side open wider, 1 side smaller.

 

best down all 4 to the max !
