Warranty Vs Servicing Issues

Dear all, heard recently that some distributors frown on the 'alternate servicing' practice by their customers. i.e. the customer service the car alternately between the distributor and workshops outside. When there are major issues with the gearbox (for example), they may check on the last service date and see if there's any missed service on the schedule with the distributor. If there is, they may use it as an excuse to reject the customers' request to replace the gearbox. (so it says in the warranty policy) So, if you have been practicing this and worry for the future, its time to switch back to 'doing the right thing'.

Just like SAF... 'You can do anything as long as you don't get caught.'
