Nokian Tyres

Saw an ad for this new brand of tyres called Nokian. I believe it's from Finland and the range of tyres look good for wet weather driving. Anyone with experience using Nokian tyres?

Finnish tires? I tot they would only be good with Winter tires

 

The thread pattern on that tire does look aggressive

Yup, used the Hakkapelitas(sp?) snow tyres. Very good (relatively) handling in snow. These are knobbly tyres, and thus you get more exciting driving even in the dry.

I suggest waiting for some local mags to review the tires before plunging your hard earned cash into a set.

If snow can, then Sand should also can!! Become Rally tyres

Snow yes. Europe no, upstate noo yawk. not that popular (it's a "furrin tah-ah" afterall).

 

But very fun to drive on cleaned up streets. The knobbly bits bring the excitement speed threshold lower :-)
