Kahmotor servicing for Jazz?

Hi to all again, I just got a 2nd hand Jazz that is still only 2 yrs old. Hence that means I still entitled to 3 yr warranty and free service (Right Accordvtec?)

 

I am just wondering is there a way to check out what servicing I can still go for my 3rd yr warranty?

 

I believe the last servicing was done on 1/10/04 for 50k. Now it is approaching 60k.

 

1. When shld I do my next servicing?

 

2. Anything I shld take note of for the car? Like do some rust proofing or wat?

 

3. Any cheap upgrades I can consider to improve the performance of the car?

hi,

 

kah motor only started giving the free servicing package recently so you probably won't be entitled. my jazz is 8 mths old & i've had to pay for svcing from 1k onwards. the 3 yr warranty shld still be valid. svcing shld be at 10k km intervals, so just check when the last svcing was done.

1. 60K if previously servicing at km and you use synthetic engine oil. km uses shell helix ultra 5-40W for Jazz. you can use your own engine oil when you go servicing. Just pay labour charge.

 

2. i don't bother with rust proofing. I personally think it's a waste of $$$.

 

3. Lots of poison is Jazz forum.
