Custom body kit makers

Hi all, need all your help here, i am doing a feasibility studies on whether to install body kit on my car (G9 corolla), i noe that there r ready made ones out there but till date haven seen anything that tickles my interest tho... [:(] , the nicer ones r those japanese brands which u see on the website but will cost a bomb to get them shipped over, etc... [:(]

therefore, the only way is to customise the body kit, i am looking for front lips, side skirts and rear lips, so i will need advice on the following from all experts here,

 

a. any good workshop that u personally recommend that is able to customise body kit, local or jb, wld be great if i can see their samples, past works, etc, my preference is that they last and dun crack too easily

 

b. how much will be looking at for those 3 items? including spray painting,

 

thanks, will need the above details to explore further then can decide whether to proceed

Hey bro, I might be able to help. I installed my whole bodykit in JB for about RM$500. I know you don't like ready made ones. I also don't. Anyway, I can't even find a ready made one for my car. So I chose one that looks nice, and they modified it for me. I also used Corolla side skirts which doesn't fit. They customised that for me as well. For all those, RM$500 is dirt cheap. But the kit will crack if you hit something, so you gotta be very careful.

 

However, if you want to spray, I think the cost would be another RM$400 but you would have to leave your car there for a few days which I don't think you want. I can suggest you another place in SG that does spraying and it's much cheaper than others. About $350.

Hi hi, sorry was a bit busy so din reply to your posting, thanks for the recommendation, i am busy shifting house so will put off the project for the time being (time and money constraints), will contact you once i am available, maybe we can chk out the shop that did yours...

Choing bodykit are not aerodynamic... therefore, at high speed, it hinders or even endanger performance of the car.

 

Think twice.

Yeah I agree with you. But all these are for people with tight budgets and yet still want to look nice. Anyway, how fast you wanna go on Singapore roads? [crazy]
