Dukey Neutral Newbie October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 Hi, I would also like to get 4 quarts of 10w-30 if there's stock left. Hopefully, I can get it early Oct if possible as servicing coming up. Thanks.
Admin Clutched October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 You mean this? http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/acd.aspx Nope, ours is the ATM. Isn't the ACD primarily for Diesel engines?
Admin Clutched October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 Coming in mid Oct. Will announce when it arrives.
Genie47 1st Gear October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 ACD is SL rated. So it can be used for petrols and Amsoil has changed its formulation so it meets 10W30 now. It is thinner than ATM but more shear resistant. Also very much cheaper. However, the smallest size available is the 1USGAL bottle. Does not come in qt bottles. Admin Clutched October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 Ah... Thanks for the tip. If you want to try, we can bring it in for you for the next shipment. But won't be so soon. Maybe in 3-4 more months as we ordered a lot this time round.
Dennisk Clutched October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 i am using amsoil series 2000, can i use for more than 10k? as amsoil claim that they can go more than 10k...
Imuya Clutched October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 for the price you pay, should squeeze more than 10k from it esp you using 2000series. If you 10k drain out heart pain ah!!! i intend to change at maybe 12k or even 14k.
Dennisk Clutched October 3, 2005 Share October 3, 2005 but will it do any harm anot?

Genie47 1st Gear October 6, 2005 Share October 6, 2005 (edited) Shouldn't be a problem. Reputable oil and furthermore, your car is a Mazda. It loves thin oil just like Imuya's a Honda. Edited October 6, 2005 by Genie47 ↡ Advertisement
