Aveo 20k servicing

Hi guys,

Wanna know whether anyone of u here (Aveo owner) done youor 20k servicing already? If yes, how much u spend? Thanx

Thought I posted this some time back.

I did mine 20K at SA

 

I brought in Conoco 5W/30, oil filter and

spark plugs.

 

So they charge me $135 for the god damm labour.

Total servicing hours is 1 and 1/2 hrs.

Told SA not to replace Air filter cos still new.

Instructed them not to wash car and engine bay

cos I didnt want water to enter the Alternator and

cause electrical related issue.

 

Didnt go for the A/C dryer change cos it is $260 w parts

and labour just for the additional 20k warranty.

 

Its up to you whether you want to safe keep your warranty

like me or would rather spend the $135 bucks else wehere.

mine oso coming up........but mine is 10k service.

......after almost 9mths.

hehee....

juz bot a bottle of Shell fully syn 5w40 at discounted price.

after service, most probably will drop by outside workshop to change plugs + coolants as well.

Hi,

I am sending my optra for the 20k service at leng kee.

Is it necessary to change the A/C dryer during the servicing?

 

 

optra 20K servicing cost around $270.

The mandatory A/C service at 20k no longer applies for A/C Warranty.

I asked at the counter in Ubi during my last service ( Dec'05 ) and

the lady say not necessary. They don't even have it on their price list.
