Nope. It is not in the interest of car manufacturers to put ATF coolers in street cars.

Perhaps you can check with Fiat Punto, it comes with ATF cooler from the factory. Cheers [thumbsup]

Is it a separate radiator for the ATF cooler?

Or could it be just part of the main water radiator where it is a dual channel input. The last few rows are used for the ATF cooling. Just like your ride mah..... [sweatdrop]

That's one of the exceptions. Most AT cars don't come with ATF coolers. Too much tubing = prone to leaks. You get around by giving it a bigger ATF sump. idea.gif

It shouldn't be complicted. It should be quite straight forward with input/output oil tubes to and from the ATF Cooler. Where to get it fitted in the car is the question. [:p]

It is complicated. You have added 4 potential leak points. Occam's razor. Simplest solution is the most survivable. However there is the weight issue with a large sump. tongue.gif

Perhaps the Punto doesn't have much space for a large sump and thus the cooler is better.

this has been discussed at length with another forumner on why Fiat Punto needs an ATF Cooler. As duscussed it maybe due to the gearbox being smaller in size and that the oil maybe easily heated up or cooked. [sweatdrop]

Bro, the longer you delay.... it's not doing your auto tranny any good.

New Hayden ATF cooler goes for as low as $120 to $150...... maybe another $50 to $70 for labour & custom brackets.

Check the for sale folder in the SCS club forum. Fella selling it and has ready stocks. In fact, my friend has just purchased one.

The ATF kit comes with some straight brackets..... but I'm not sure if it'll fit (I doubt so). BTW, I'm not on Hayden.... I'm using permacool which is supposedly bulkier and not so good. [rolleyes]

Go to any pro Subaru W/S like BKS or BMS and they'll know what to do.
