Your ECU which reads from your speed sensor.

 

From the ECU it goes out to R-Vit and your speedo. The R-Vit is digital so it is reading everything your ECU reads. On the other hand, your speedo will convert the signal into analogue display. Most speedo has some zero error. It is quite common to have zero error on analogue devices.

 

R-Vit is more accurate in this sense.

Car analogue speedo, due to inherent mechanical inaccuracy (+ or -), only means most car manufacturers will overcompensate on the safe side, i.e. show a higher speed than the car is actually going.

Y not try on NS highway they have the distance reading and time with a stop watch for 1km.

S'pore 500m to exit dunno accurate or not.

But I think it is impossible to achieve 100% accuracy.

One way to tell how accurate your speedo is - is to use a decent GPS unit which acan be used to plot your actual speed based on satellite tracking.

I'm orgainisng a MO for BLITZ R-VIT i-Color FLASH to see any bro and sis interested too, so that we are able to get a better price from the Agent.

 

The retail price will be $630-$650. if we able to get :

1) 5 units above $550/- (C&C)

2) 10 units above $510/- (C&C)

3) Installation charges $35/-

 

According to the agent this stuff work on mazda 2 & 3.

 

Up on confirmation a 50% deposit need to paid to the agent to indent the order. the shipment will take 5-6 weeks to arrive S'pore.
