A friend of mine did his Matrix there sometime ago and he told me they are good. It cost him less than S$1K to soundproof the whole car. Don't know why need to do car boot but for the top he once told me that when it rains, the sound of rain drop hitting the top will not be there. Cos the only way is to take measurement.... and the measurement cost easily $300-$400... Do they have any form of report like before doing... how much is the NR rating sound characteristic of his car... and how much NR rating after the treatment is done? Ohlins Neutral Newbie January 12, 2005 Share January 12, 2005 you can buy a SPL meter from SLT. cheap cheap only. can use that to accurately measure the noise level from a non-treated and soundproofed car. drive the 2 cars along the a sample of roads and measure away.!......sure can tell whether got difference... Since it is him who spend the money as long as he "feel" got inprovement, it will good enough for him already. Actually it is quiet enough for me too since I had the chance to sit in his car (but still a bit too exp for my blood). Hee hee hee... Maybe I will get him to do the measurement.
