Optra5? Anyone?

Hi all, I'm currently thinking of buying a new car.. Looking at Optra5, seems quite chio to me, does anyone have it yet? Care to share any feedback on this car? Cheers. My brother had a Optra sedan, so I'm thinking of not getting a same car in the family...

hmm....me will be collecting my optra5 next week lei .....

test drive seem ok , thinking of changing to 15 inch rim and tyre , cos stock tyre i see is the brand hankok or wat ...never hear b4 ,

dun know will affect the milage bo if use 15 inch

but i think the tyre confirm have to change lah , even the optra already using the bridestone 1 .

What color u buying? I am thinking of this car at 1st but should settle with a YRV maybe middle of the yr. Hankook is from Korea as the car is made in Korea while the sedan made in Thailand.

YRV is a model made by Daihatsu.

Got nothing to do with Chevrolet.

does any1 have tis burning (chow ta) smell from the fuel tank area after driving for about 8 - 10 km .

my optra5 have tis smell lei , the smell like those lsat few days when u breathe in the air , those burning smell type . my milage now 750km not yet 1st servicng ,

when i drive at 90km/h for 20min , the smell comes .other than tis ,no smell lei

You may be expriencing the burnt smell

from the atomsphere rather then the

smell from the Fuel Tank.

 

I couldnt relate any cases of

burnt smell with Petrol in the tank

so just wondering is it you are sniffing

the recent Smoky air caused by drought?

nope bro , confirm not burnt smell

from the atomsphere , check with SA and know some other optra havinf same thing ,

will send in for the 1k servicing earlier .

I had the same issue when i just collect my car, let your car run in for a month than the smell will be gone

So for the 1k servicing , did u guys change to synectic oil ? Or use mineral oil?

or how many km must i done to change to synectic oil . cos now i feel the engine heavy lei , not much power matve due to the mineral oil , so if change to synectic 1 , maybe lighter and have more power , any advise . also on which syn oil is better ?
