Pisces69 6th Gear March 2, 2005 Share March 2, 2005 hmmm... For example, the nut used for this rim, is not suitable for the following one.. ===================================== Can be abit more specific please? As I mentioned earlier, I changed rims n not nuts b4. I changed nuts n not rims b4. But never made any difference to the handling at all. Went 160km/h on NSH, still no vibrations or wobble. Is there a specific classification for the different type of nuts as there sud b due to the different specs? Must have if they r not the same type? Pisces69 6th Gear March 2, 2005 Share March 2, 2005 (edited) OK, I see that the nut dosen't sit inside the hole, so it cannot b tightned fully so it dosen't make the rim sit tight against the hub. But won't the tires wobble like that. Sure can feel strange, the tire wobbling when u drive? Also sure make a lot of sound. Even drive slow can feel it wobble? BTW, That's a nice set of rims u got there. Edited March 2, 2005 by Pisces69

Orangie Neutral Newbie March 2, 2005 Share March 2, 2005 The mounting holes are not big enough for the 21mm size spocket to fit to tightne the nut. I dun get what you mean << thread dia..>>>> If I'm not wrong, there are 2 thread pitch or whatever, 1.25mm and 1.5mm. Take a look at "racing" nut.
