Throttle body doubts

Like to seek some advice here. If Using enlarge or ported throttle body will improve the preformance, even though no port to the intake manifold? If there is improvement even without porting the manifold, As for nissan sunny B14, using ga15de engine, there are several doubts.

1) which other model throttle body can fit my?

2) Porting one roughly cost how much, and port how much bigger?

Just getting a bigger bored throttle body will not have much improvement in engine performance. You need more than that - porting the head, and replacing the exhaust and intake manifold with perofrmance type are some of the must-do to get the speed up.

Don't forget to improve your brake system if you have managed to improve the engine speed - Safety first !!

Thanks for the advice, I have extractor, exhaust and air intake done up. If change the throttle body, will it improve much? Thanks

The skill level and knowledge of the mech doing the modifications will make a great difference. That's why top racers always have their personal mechs and pay them extremely well.
