no you cant, your amp is bridged at 4 ohm, if you parallel wired the DVC it will be 2 or 8 ohm, unless you want to use only 1 channel of your amp 250W to power a single woofer

i think you still can get me. i want to bridge the amp to 500rms x 1 channel. then power one subwoofer in 2 ohm cos its a DVC.

so is it a waste to connect just to one coil since the woofer has DVC???

actually i dun really know the purpose of having DVC..

yes, waste one channel, but you can buy one more sub to use that channel also, DVC is good stuff, having a 4ohm DVC can wired to 2 ohm, having a pair of DVC can wired into 1 ohm, then let say you have a 400W (4 ohm) good class D monoblock that able to stable at 1 ohm, 2 ohm will double the power of the amp (800W), 1 ohm double again (1600W).

so if i connect both channel of my amp. to 2 sub in parellel , that means ea. channel to sub is pumping 250rms at 2 ohm. will i underpower the sub cos the sub rms is 350. and also i using a undersize enclosure, heard the small enclosure needs more power.

yes you will underpower a bit, but it doesnt mean a lot of different, smaller enclosure decrease some SQL but add some SQ to your system

SQL = sound pressure level, SQ = Sound Quality

if you havent bought the sony, maybe can consider to buy alpine/kicker instead. sony is not a good brand in car audio IMO

hi man

best u go check out whether ur amp can handle 2ohm or not..check online or check with the shop. cos if u parallel both coils, will end up with 2 ohm , and you'll be suckin a lot of power and current from the amp and it will heat up.. if the amp cannot tahan 2 ohm , it will burn out..

but i tink most amps can go to 2 ohms.. but most amps cannot tahan 1 ohm..

but DVCs will kick ass man..

aniway. in ur earlier question, u asked whether can power 350 watt sub with 250 watt amp rite..

u still can, but its not good for the sub.. cos last time i was like that, then my sub blew, then i wrote to JBL USA and asked why, then they said.. cos if use a lower power rating to power a sub, it will still drive, then to drive it louder, u will turn up the vol, this will cause distortion in the sub which is not audible to the ear, after some time, ur sub will give way..

aniay.. have fun with ur sub man.. i also runnin DVC.. heheh
