I believe that a LCD Screen (without player) fixed onto the car's roof ranges from about $600 upwards - depending on size and brand.

 

A portable DVD player without screen costs only $120 upwards - e.g. Wearnes, Akira, Shinco, etc.

 

A 1-din DVD player (fitted into dashboard) should be in the region of about $700 upwards - again depending on brand.

 

Another option is the LCD screen with built-in player - don't know how much though.

Hi I'm new to ICE. so can anyone tell me wether will I blow up my 350rms woofer if i use 500rms amplifier to power it. Or is 250rms enough for my 350rms woofer???

if you dont turn up your volume too high, then you wont...set the gain properly...

no problem with under powering an woofer, what brand / model is your sub and amp?

sony 2 channel XM-SD22X amp with 2 sony 10" XS-LD105P5 woofer. If i get one more amp, tat means i bridge the amp to produce 500rms each to power each woofer, will i get louder bass???

you may have problem running only 1 sub with your amp, because your amp is 500W X1 @ 4ohm, and your sub is a DVC (double voice coil) 4ohm, you may want to get another identical sub and parallel wire them to 2 ohm each, and your amp can do a 250 X2 @2ohm

 

btw, have you bought the sony?

Can i power one woofer with one amp and alos parallel wire the DVC???
