Ha ha... I'm just refering to my own experience lor.. there are basically no major problems from all 3 cars that I've drove .. And generally from the guys in Mitsubishi and Lancer club.

And the Lancer GLXi engine has been around, tested and proven.

Well scandals .. yup agree that there are scandals .. and agreed that there are Colt and GAlant recall ... but well.. several companies has recalls as well .. and scandals as well.. they are doing something about it..

The Lancer GLXi engine, has been ard, but how long has it been? One thing, ive been trying to find out if current waja engine is similar to lancer current engine?

Read too, fr a isolated incideent that a car owner has to change his auto gearbox a few times (maybe 2 or 3, but bad enuff for me) in a span of 4 yrs. U heard that often in Lancer forums, or its just 1 unlucky guy tats all??

Thanks for clearing my doubts =)

Agree that corporate scandals will always exist. Just wish it wouldn't happen to consumers who spend money and pay the price with their lives!

sigh..I used to love Mits cars too...IMHO, the design was sporty and the evo was a wet dream come true...but I just wish they would be more ethical...

Have to agree with you that every car company sure have recall but which other company have a scandal as huge as MMC? .

While you may not have encounter any problem, the fact that they keep covering up their faults means it's hard to trust them. They had repeatedly apologies but keep repeating their mistakes. How sure can a car buyer be that they come clean this time round? coupled with the fact they are in financial woes. It's like putting your $$ in a dodgy bank. my $0.02 worth. Cheers
