hi guys i was wandering as i hav personally customise my front grill as a result more air will be entering the engine bay thru the grill will it affect the engine in any way?? [sweatdrop]

nope, if u r talking abt the meshes, beri little influences on the inlet airflow coefficiency. but if you made those pokadot type ie stainless steel with punched holes, yes, mebbe reduced fr say 60% to only 20%

should not b an issue... no worries. can check using Bernoulli Equation - flow calculation or Navier-Stoke. you should have gains on the airflow. but b careful when parking at places which have plenty of small leaves which may fly into the car.

 

in most cars, there is a cover piece to protect the headers. this is to prevent dried leaves / any combustibles fr coming into contact with the headers and igniting,thus causing combustion.
