Hi..

wondering if anyone of you have tried out this inexpensive soundproofing mat? It's supposedly from Korea... CableHunter. How does it compare to the Accumats and Dynamat?

Thanxx..

You installed this mat on your 4 doors for just $138? Material+labour? May I know where is this place?

Andy & Bill at Turf city... material and labour, double layer, 4 doors only.

i wouldn't recommend them now coz they have a large number of backlogged customers and the price is now $238...

if they're busy, workmanship suffers...

go down and take a look before commiting..

the response to their ad was tremendous, then they ran out of cable hunter and they used a cheaper foil-less alternative... guess they're making a loss now...

so the $138 package is offered using the cheaper lighter material, and the CH one at $238...

business good, so price go up lor...

Pls advise the unit number for this outfit in Turf City. Would like to take a look to compare as I have my Accumat done for the whole car and it is impressive but expensive. Now, waiting for my new car and can consider this...

thanks...

OIC, so the original is $238.

Dum mind, do you feel that it really absorb the road noise. That is, do you find that it is quieter on the road overall ?

Your 2 layer ,is it one on the outer side of the door and the other on the inside ? Or 2 layers on one side ?

the unit is B9 i think...

the CH stuff, in my opinion, does not absorb road noise all that much... but, i can hear improvements from my speakers and sound quality...

really depends on what ur looking for... better midbass from your speakers, go for it..

reducing road noise... u'll be dissapointed...

2 layers meaning, one layer inside the door...and another one-piece covering up the gaps...

Thanks Bro.....

If got time, will check it out. I had done mine current car with aluminium grade Accumat and it was marvellous- this latest one is equivalent to 2 layers of the original one. Think this is CH is of lower grade...maybe higher $ mean higher grade...
