Anyone heard of sun-cool? Was having a car wash in malaysia today. The boss offered mi sun-cool window tint all 6 sides for 450 RM. Heard of v-cool but never heard of sun-cool. Anyone has any experience with sun-cool?

no idea! v-kool here! its proberbly their own brand. 450rm is not exp. but to think tat tinting of window has to be done in dust free area and all and the way the do by the road. wah canot make it le i think i duno la. jus my thoughts.

The guy told me that sun-cool is created back- door by "engineers" from Taiwan. Hmmm...do they do it by the road i'm not sure lei. Never ask too much though.

my friend 323 protege was fitted with sun cool from MM.

 

anyway to me, not a whole lot difference between the different thermal films. its more the workmanship as well as the amount of tinting they put in to not violate LTA regulations.

I did my 6pcs sun cool 2 years back oni at rm350 with 5 yrs warranty. You can ask those owners offering the suncool which type is s'pore standard compliate (>50% and stuffs). The shop in JB I knew moved already though but my guess u can go anywhere.

 

Can feel the cool effectively after the installation though....but after sometime, somehow felt getting less effective. Not knowing whether is it my standard went up or the other way round.....I have a habit of getting less satisfied by the day with things I have. But what can u ask for so budgeted investment - I say if I have a brand new car I will go do it again lor.

Yes, sun-cool is around for quite some time already in JB, at least for 3 years up.

Rest assure that should not normally happen. If so, go back and claim warranty for poor worksmanship.

and i dun like to on air-con, car more powerful
