And let the car roll before traffic juction ... minimise the use of the brakes ... actual this car can glide quite a distant ... BTW u moves off at 3000-3500 rpm? Xavier Neutral Newbie June 6, 2005 Share June 6, 2005 (edited) 14km/l is once in a blue moon. I'm manual and on synthenic oil. Tried 90% highway and 10% normal roads. No air-con if possible, no reving over 2500rpm gear change. Speed maintain 80km/h for highway. let car roll as far as possible. No passengers. Tyre slightly over-inflate...then can hit that pathetic 14km/l. If you can hit constantly 14km/l, please let me know how you do it? Btw, Darklord's Vios is auto and he can manage 19km/l with air-con on! Now i rather enjoy ride rather than FC conscious...constant 11 to 12km/l.
