exhaust mufflers(together with the tail pipe) alone does increase or gain in hp but not very significant, but sound nice. however if a single pipe can also behave the same if the muffler is changed and the pipe size is ard 2". so all in all, its not about the number of tail pipes but the muffler.

 

sometimes on the road i also see some pple with twin exhaust... but some may just be a dummy one(cosmetics). For exhaust output, the more the easier the flow of the output, the better gain in hp.

i am riding 323, changed my to 4-1 extractor...FC improved about 12%

 

4-1 suppose for high end power.

weird if FC does improve.

he quote me for $250 for the extractor n $180 for the dummy cat

u interested ??

 

can go without the dummy cat.

keep your original cat.

ask the mech to install and take out for u during inspection for only $30+-.

hmmm ... so if drive normal as wat i alway do will feel different by using dummy cat?

 

dummy cat is just a dummy.

no difference whatsoever.

straight thru and forget about the dummy.

hi!!! just to check out..... i saw civic ES model installed twin tailpipe exhaust...

just to find out more on this... wether does it gain more power compare of single pipe...

pls unlighting me........

 

twin muffler supposingly kill your pick up.

but gives u higher top speed.

an exhaust expert tell me changing header does improve FC. [nod]

ok u mean i just need to change to 4-2-1 extractor n keep my original cat. n will improve in low end n save petrol?

but the mech say cat has the highest resistant at the exhuast line..
