Mzrmazda3 6th Gear August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 (edited) No problem Bro, jus sharing my limited knowledge One more is the type of engine oil For newer cars, use those engine oils ending with 30s or 40s, avoid using those 50s one IMHO Once a while, pour some injector cleaners (Certain brands can be bought off shelf from petrol stations) onto our fuel tank to clean our injectors, this would also help a bit Edited August 5, 2005 by Mzrmazda3

Phantom105 Neutral Newbie August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 The last servicing I went the mechanic intro me the Prestone syn engine oil...after a while I feel that its not smooth...maybe is the wrong type of oil used. I'm thinking of changing a better spark plug + air filter + castrol engine oil. Do you think it will help with better mileage? I did use some petrol treatment and indeed improve a little[drivingcar]
Serene Neutral Newbie August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 actually i wanted to do it this way too but my bf say me ... cos i find that my FC very good everytime i pump mu tyres to the fullest.. ok i will do it this way too.. thanks
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 (edited) IMHO, better spark plugs i.e Iridium plugs would give you a smoother ride whether when your car is idling or when you 'Ta You' Air filter also plays a part too cos when your air filter is dirty, you'll feel that your car is 'Bo Luk' hence you'll 'Ta You' more For air filter, some people change to aftermarket types i.e K&N, Simota ... etc Castrol is a good oil IMHO expecially the RS series There are a few threads on engine oil in this forum, you might wanna check it out especially from Bro Genie whom is a oil guru (Bro Genie, don't mind if i quote you ) Edited August 5, 2005 by Mzrmazda3

Osiris 1st Gear August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 Oh, so you just squeeze in a bit of more air everytime to maintain correct pressure.
Phantom105 Neutral Newbie August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 okie bro...will chk that out
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 For this, i feel that if we pump regularly say 5-7 days interval the pumping air sound from the air pump machine shouldn't be more than 3 times (For my case, only 1-2 times max or sometime none using SPC's digital pump) If the sound last for 5-7 times then must take note liao for that particular tyre but must be sure that you are pumping in the same psi as before Above are jus my experience so mai flame me if not accurate
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 Normally, jus pump back the same psi setting so i guess that there shouldn't be any extra air tio bo? ↡ Advertisement
